A Hot Foil Coder is a device for coding, marking and overprinting date codes, batch codes, graphics etc. onto a wide range of materials.
How Does Hot Foil Work?
The basis of a Hot Foil Coder is a heated block with type face inserted in to it, stamping down by means of an air cylinder through a printing foil which is made up of a silicone carrier to which a carbon pigment is attached.
